From the wear on your coin, I cannot see the Mexico City mint mark (a capital 'M' with a small 'o' above it). The coin does have the FM assayer's initials that would be expected from Mexico City in 1774.

Potosi would have assayer's initials JR
Santiago would have assayer's initials DA
Nuevo Reino (Bogota) didn't mint 2 Reales in 1774
Guatemala also didn't issue 2 Reales in 1774
Lima would have had assayer's initials JM or MJ
The Iberian mints would have had a different reverse design

So it looks like it is a product of the Mexico City mint.

Where would the mint mark be located. Where would the initials be located? I know the scan wasn't the greatest, maybe I can find this information on the coin. Again, maybe not?

at 8 o'clock, it says Mo, which means Mexico city. As for the initials... erm... someone else will tell you.

Thank you for the information. I can just see the lower part of the M. It is in the most worn part of the coin. These coins become a true history lesson.

Assayer's initials TH can be seen at 10 o'clock on the reverse of the coin pictured by wd1040. Your coin has FM in the same location.
