This Domitian coin has caused a fair bit of head scratching as I can't find a matching reverse. This obverse/reverse combination does not seem to appear on the RPC site, Wildwinds or ACSearch. Searches have pointed to the coin being BMC 38 or BMC 39, and though both share the reverse legend "ΙΟΥΛΕΙΩΝ ΤΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΛΑΟΔΙΚΕΩΝ", the BMC 39 example on the RPC site has Domitian facing left.

The BMC 38 coins, such as the one below found on ACSearch are a close match, but the reverse legend is rotated 180 degrees to the OP coin.

Here are the two reverses rotated side by side for comparison.

Can anyone help to properly identify this coin?

Reverse legend: IOVΛIE / ΩN TΩN - KAI ΛAΩ / ΔIKEΩN either side of Tyche. Bronze. Diameter: 20 mm. Weight: 5.87 gr.
Reference: RPC II, 2034(?); BMC 38(?).

Unfortunately no, Bob. The BMC 38 reference took me to the RPC II 2034 page, and the coins are indeed similar. What I find confusing is, that to read the reverse legend on the RPC II 2034 coins they have to be turned 90 degrees clockwise from vertical with Tyche's head pointing to the right. The reverse on my coin has to be turned 90 degrees anti-clockwise with Tyche's head pointing to the left to read the legend.

I've tried many various combinations of search terms, but can't find a reverse with that orientation.

I guess the post confused me. Sorry. I incorrectly assumed that the coin immediately under the post's starting sentence ("This Domitian coin") was the coin you referred to. My bad.

No problem, Bob. I'm grateful for any help, and I'm still getting nowhere with this very odd reverse.

It is an interesting variant of the type. Assuming there is no separate variety available (no documented variety with the legend oriented as on your coin), perhaps it should simply be listed as such - a variant of the existing type?

To maintain how little sanity (and hair) that I have left, I guess this is the only way to go.

That is indeed the case. Thanks, Bob.

I submitted the coin to the RPC and it has been attributed as RPC II 2034, with the note: "reverse inscription orientated differently".

Neat to see it at RPC Online. Yep, that is a sensible way to list/categorize it.
