There's whole bunches of them available on ebay. Is this 1935-S Lincoln Cent (" Wheat cent") the coin to which you refer? I won't bet the farm on it, but I don't think any Proof 1935-S cents were issued. Fred Report this Post to the Staff
demonboy279 Valued Member United States 346 Posts	Posted 04/03/2006 11:46 pm Not necessarily. The "S" mint is San Fransisco which now does proof coins. But they used to do circulation coins to. Back in the day they did them for many years but I dont believe theyve made circualtion coins since 1971. scoutjim99 Pillar of the Community United States 4589 Posts	Posted 04/03/2006 11:51 pm Sanfransico didnt start doing proofs untill 1968 before they were all minted in Philly with a few exceptions. if it a lincoln S mints circulation strikes were minted from 1909 untill 1974 when they stoped demonboy you are correctabout stopping for awhile they started back up in 1968 and stopped in 1974 Edited by scoutjim99 04/03/2006 11:53 pm Report this Post to the Staff
