Would like some opinions on both the potential Dye Chip/DDO and
Pattern that goes from the bottom left to the top right of the obverse.

1. The image that has the arrow pointing to it looks like it may be a DD or dye chip. thoughts?

2. Is the pattern that goes from up left to right post damage or something from the mint. I've seen similar looking defects on other pennies.

Thanks

I am afraid the images are not clear and large enough to assess and answer your questions, however it looks like a contact mark .

that feature above the date looks like a circulation hit. the lines on the coin are roller lines.
Not seeing any DDO though

Is a circulation hit unique or fairly common issue/error?

A circulation hit isn't an error. It's PMD. Not a DDO. Just a spender. I would suggest studying up on the minting process, so you can better understand what can and can't happen during the minting process. https://www.usmint.gov/learn/produc...n-production
