This 1942-S dime is a little beat up, but I believe it is probably a IMM example. The gap is wide on the top curve, and the bottom serif is connected to the body by a little bridge of metal. Left to right: my S, two PCGS certified IMM, and a 1944-S cent with the S correctly oriented (to illustrate the bridge on the top, in the correct position).
