I often save posts to my draft folder. If the post includes formatting, e.g., font sizes or font colors, I use the formatting drop down windows to do so. When I reopen the post from the draft menu, I'm finding the formatting codes have changed. Here's an example: Note-- I inserted a quotation mark to preserve the example

["size=3"] ["b]August 12, 2024 -- Format Hiccup ? -- cptbilly[/b] [/size=3]
["blue]Historical Background[/blue]
["blue]Design Notes[/blue]"
resulted in the following when viewed in the Message Preview window:

So far so good. I saved the above to my draft folder. When I returned to My CCF drafts and reopened it, this was the result:

Quote:

<span class="three"> <b>August 12, 2024 -- Format Hiccup ? -- cptbilly</b> </span id="three">
<font color="blue">Historical Background</font id="blue">
<font color="blue">Design Notes</font id="blue">

Should I just omit the formatting until I'm ready to "Post New Reply" ?

Also: Are we limited to one draft per topic at a time ?

Thank you.

When I was doing the WW2 medal thread, I held off on the formatting (within the draft) until I was ready to post. Simple work-around.
