I can't tell if it is raised or incuse - First impression is that is it incuse which to me looks like a hit on the corner of the rim.

I didn't until now. While I found die gouges in similar locations to several, they weren't quite in the right location except WDDO-007. There is a die gouge in the right location (beneath the 2nd 2). But the die chip on the shield which I think would be a marker doesn't show on any DDO.
