1974 2 Cent Broad Strike Error - Coin Community Forum

Is the value of the error determined depending on severity of the error? Obviously a high grade is a factor. Is this a common error on 2c coins? any other examples of 1974 2c broad strikes? There's a lot going on with it, so I contacted Mike Diamond, a coin expert in errors. Also, you shouldn't be handling your coin with bare fingers. Fingerprints are going to be there forever, once the oils get into the coin's surfaces. Wear gloves when handling coins. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff
John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 08/15/2024 04:16 am Very cool coin. ASAP dip it in 100% pure acetone to remove and skin oils you may have put on it and then put it in a coin holder. As to value,check ebay sold values for a similar coin. John1 Report this Post to the Staff
