So this random coin was included in a small lot I aquired.

I have no idea what it is? Its aprox 15mm diameter and very thin.

Arabic, certainly. Probably a silver dirham. The serifs at the tips of the letters are distinctive of the various dynasties that ruled modern-day Iraq, Syria and Turkey in the "mediaeval Islamic" period, roughly contemporary with the Crusades.

That's about as narrow an ID as I can offer at this stage.
