I got to reexamine 5 of the 6 Connecticut DDRs recently and I've seen enough to delist them as doubled dies. These dies only show die clash remnants (except for -002 and -004 which also have confounding die gouges and scratches).

Here are some photos of WDDR-004 I took. This is the best example by condition, die state, and extent of the clash remnants.

Clash remnants and lines overlayed by obverse, lines correspond with low relief areas on obverse:

Clash remnants also visible on obverse:

I had a feeling they weren't Doubled Dies. Nice work.

. Thank you Tanner for researching this.
I tried to use an overlay but that area was such a mess I gave up.

Glad to get these resolved, they've been on my mind for a while.

Also of note from the coins I've been reexamining: 2008-P 25˘ AZ WDDR-001, to my surprise, also appears to be a die clash...

Well done and I'm not saying they are anything other than clashes, but shouldn't the clashes be from the base of Wahington's hair since the dies are inverted from each other?

EDIT: Oh boy, my eyes must have been inverted. Ignore my comments above because my mind is now seeing the image of his hair you marked up as being oriented properly.

The Connecticut Quarter reverses are so hard to study, but it makes much more sense to see them as die clashes now!
