Hi I am mattcor11 from owensboro ky.. I mainly collect for my 2 year old (on 9-18-24 almost there) daughter to pass to her one day when she is older.. I collect a little of everything I have a decent size collection... my favorite things to collect right now are mexico bullion I have this so far along with a 1891 mexico 8 reales on the way in the mail... other than that just a little of random different stuff I was think8ng about switching my focus to mainly graded coins do you guys think that would be a good idea or that it wouldnt matter... thank you guys I love coins

Post good photos of the 1891 when you get in the proper section of the forum.

... there's differing opinion here on graded coins, but a general consensus seems to be: because of the cost involved (slabbing), graded coins should have a value of $150 or more ...
... however, if you buy graded bullion coins with prices close to their (ungraded) market value, then, no harm there ... otherwise, it could take decades to (possibly) recoup your investment... hard to say what future markets will entertain ... best of luck & it's great that you're already planning for your daughter ... looking forward to your posts...
