*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

I have a book called "Strike it Rich with Pocket Change" by Ken Potter. It reviews different years and errors that have been made on the various coins. I have a few 1969-D coins with this missing FG...thoughts?

My electronic magnifying glass has a memory card that I used to upload these photots.

Apologies for uploading screenshots earlier!

Guessing this is just due to excessive die polishing.

Looks like it but this is a tough one in my opinion. The FG may be missing from a Grease Filled Die or polished away. PCGS has one listed yet if you the zoom on the photo, the G is still there.

Here is a good video explaining it.:

Common, over-polishing the 1969 dies.

The so-called missing FG as well as the floating roof cents are just ebay hype.

Nice job on using the memory card - that is exactly how it is done.
But on this cent, either an over polished die or a Struck Through Grease - which adds no additional value.
