Hi, m8s! I have several one thousand years old Chinese coins which I can identify, but they have not very good marketable appearance ( look at the pictures). For me it's not a problem, I like them, but when I try to sell the duplicates, there was almost any interest in them. My question is how can I clean them without damaging old patina? Or better leave them like they are? Thanks for your opinion.
Many ancient coins are found in the ground encrusted. Many of them are cleaned. There are various methods. You could use the search line here on CCF. Also use your computer browser search line. Type in something like "clean ancient coins" or "how to clean coins."
