Hi all,
New member from the north-east of Scotland. I've been a collector for many years but only recently started to get into it more seriously.
My coin interests are pretty broad, from ancients through medieval to modern, mainly of British, Italian and Irish, and also developing a reasonable collection of 17th / 18th / 19th century tokens.
I'm looking forward to learning some things on this great forum :)

Welcome! I've enjoyed visiting Orkney, Caithness, and Aberdeenshire several times. Climbed Mither Tap last May.

Not quite the opposite end though Rob- another 300 miles to get to the north end from here ;) But yes, we are nearer Norway than Kent.

A belated to the forum! We lived just outside of Aberdeen for three years (2002-2005), and most weekends we'd take long drives and go exploring and visiting places "off the beaten path". I loved our time there. |
