I generally have to pay $15-18 for 55-S rolls, more if they are OBW. I love looking through BU rolls since if there is anything interesting in there, there are usually multiples. Sadly, I missed the "deal of the decade" a few weeks back. I was making a trip to LA and called ahead to a few dealers to line up some BU rolls. One of them told me he just sold a hoard of 20 ammo boxes with 100 rolls each, mostly 55-S and 54-S, all OBW. I discounted such a story as typical coin dealer BS, as I've heard it so many times before. "I just sold 400 rolls, you should have been here yesterday" kind of story. But it seems this hoard story was true, as a dealer I know who specializes in BU rolls said he just bought a couple of ammo boxes from the hoard. Oh well, you lose some, and then you lose some more.
