1959 Bermuda One Crown -Grade Check

These coins with a lot of luster give me problems with glare, and sometimes the detail does get washed out. I'm not very good at grading these type of coins, and thought that a close-up of the hair would be helpful to get a more accurate grade:


This is the same location on the coin shot made with different light settings. To get the close-up, I used a clip-on magnifier loop that tends to distort the image near the perimeter. That is the reason why there are a couple different shots having the light source orientated 180° away from each other.

A good reference if you want to check the rarity index or additional premium for a rare variety, etc..
