Just got in some bulk quarters.

Seems like since the US planned to issue commemoratives in 1976 and 2000 they couldn't be bothered issuing Washington quarters in 1975 and 1999

I can understand 1999, as that was the first year of the State Quarters. Not sure why they didn't issue them in 1975 though. Unless they already had too many.

So either triggersmob knows the actual date (or month) this coin was issued or it was issued in 1979.

Is this coin dated 1979?
