I couldn't find this on Numista or coinandcanada, but knew I had seen it before somewhere. So I went to ebay, where I found out they were souvenir tokens from the Winnipeg Mint Boutique. Then I found the you tube video of the strike. A sort of Gumball Machine for "coins". Feed it a couple of loonies and get this little trinket. Who knows how long it's been operating, or what material the planchet is. I'd have had a go if I was there for a visit. Here's the background I dug up.
I planned on helping you guys out, so glad you picked up on it. And, Bubbles is a great TPB character, and a good musician too.
