I found a 1920 Wheat cent that is thinner and lighter than a normal Wheat penny. Both the obverse and reverse are visible. Can anyone tell if it was struck on a foreign planchet?

Image showing that the scale is pretty accurate using a 1955 Wheat cent.

Looks like environmental damage (acidic soil) to me. A once buried coin.
