Spending 40 all in to grade is a total waste for a coin that is worth less than a buck retail!

to the CCF, edeeze510! Your coin in not worth the expense of grading. It would be a nice hole filler until a better one comes along.

I don't want to place a value on your coin, but I do believe it's less than the costs associated with getting it graded. It's a nice looking coin.

to the CCF Sending that coin to a top tier grading company will cost you ~$40, plus membership fees. It's likely worth less than $1. Does that math work for you?
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.artToo many hobbies .... too much work .... not enough time.

Thanks for everyone's response! Like I said I've never had a coin graded and there so many videos on YouTube making it seem so easy to find a rare coin... lol! I'll be watching and be hella confused that someone would send some regular circulated beat up coin with high mintage to be graded? Also some coins I see on ebay and what some sell for is crazy!

to the CCF Stay off utube and ebay. Stay here until you learn about coins. This is a great site to learn.

The surfaces suggest this coin was exposed to acid or sandblasted.

Oh wow... acid or sandblasted? I had no idea people even sandblasted coins?!? I've seen people do other things like baking soda or vinegar but thanks for the new info!
