I have no delusions of grandeur. But if you do not play, you cannot win.

I know some see the $1 increments as a pain but this is my reasoning and mods feal free to correct me if I'm wrong. Small increments means more bids More bids means more posts. The more posts there are the more traffic. More traffic on the site equates to better income potential. That's what keeps the forum running for free. As a bonus the auction stays in the recent topic list and also becomes a hot topic.

$1 bid increments was a very good choice, nohope. If there had been no limit, someone may have dropped a large number and dissuaded others from bidding. More activity and involvement hopefully will result in the highest final bid.

I personally like the $1 bid increment.

We have hit triple digits! I had the privilege of bidding $100, but we are already past that. By the way, I am out. $100 was my bid limit. Good luck to the eventual winner!

I have been quiet so far - willing to allow the big guns to bid the price up. But - just saying - I'll reevaluate my position on the 14th!

I'm gonna have to rely on the mods to determine the end time since I don't seem to have a real time forum clock on my phone. So there may be a slight delay in announcing the winner tomorrow.

Well in that case, I think only one Mod should be the time keeper, I think it should be Bobby since he is not bidding on this item. And he has the ability to time check all posts more accurately then we can (I think) Now if Bobby is willing that would be good, if not, then I think that jbuck is next..

I placed the first bid but have been on the sidelines since. I'm waiting for the opportunity to place the final one.
