Hey guys. I'm looking to start sharing again on the site but I was getting frustrated with Adobe Photoshop Express. What app do you recommend to streamline the editing process?

Wish I could help you, chafemasterj. I download pics to my computer and edit with an old version of Photoshop (6) that a buccaneer dropped on my porch 25 years ago. You can get copies of it on ebay for about $50 - just make sure that the serial number is included.

I use a Windows laptop and the Paint.net application.

Supposedly the photo editor included with the latest version(s) of iOS works just fine.

To note, I do everything on my iPhone. I don't have access to a laptop or pc anymore.

That seems to be a trend these days. I hope someone with more iPhone experience will reply.

I take a pic of the coin on my iPhone and WhatsApp it to my tablet where I edit it down to a square pic with very little background then WhatsApp it back again and hey presto it's small enough to get under the bar for inclusion on this site. For close-ups I've got a clip-on phone scope lens thingy which works a treat and doesn't mess with the number of pixels.

I've found that the editing software on my iPhone is ok, but on my tablet I've got an app called Snapseed, which is free, and is a bit more sophisticated than the one on my phone. Snapseed may well come in laptop and pc versions but I've never needed to go that far. Still got to work out a nice way of doing edge shots though...
