Hello everyone, I first hope that you are all doing well! :) My first question is: Have you already heard about a fake 1 gram Valcambi Combi Bar? My second question is: What do you think about it? (please see the pictures below) I am using a Vanta XRF, and the reading are kind of weird. During the first 4-5 seconds, the result is AU 99.99, which I love. But after 5 seconds, it becomes AU 75%, P 10%, and S 10%, or AU 75%, P 6%, S 6%, Sc 6%. Not sure that it really makes sense, 10% of sulfur is probably just impossible. What do you think?

Try your Vanta on a different piece of gold or a coin to see if these anomalous readings repeat.

Thank you!
Do you think that the bar is real and that the XRF is not accurate, or you think that the bar is fake?

The bar itself looks fine to me.

Have you calibrated your scale?

No, it's a cheap scale and I can imagine that it can be off by +/- 0.01 gram.

If still concerned measure it (you'll need calipers) and calculate the density. Should be 52 cubic millimeters.
