mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2951 Posts	Posted 12/13/2024 06:19 am It is definitely a Byzantine coin, plugging in expanded data in numista, the closest coin is N#44211. According to the numista page, is from the time period 1028-1042AD, is a Follis denomination (1/288 of a unit of currency), and they have it at 9.9g, and 32mm, made from bronze. Obverse has the bust of Christ, and the reverse translates to Jesus Christ, King of Kings. Your measurements are consistent with a more worn down coin, as this was probably used extensively back then. That should be it Report this Post to the Staff
