Added this example to my variety reference library for a few bucks. A heavily circulated specimen of 1943-S/S 10c FS-501.

Nice addition, I'd be happy w/ it. I'd love to pick a slabbed one in MS condition.

Thanks, guys. =)

They get pretty spendy in MS graded by PCGS. The most affordable one on ebay is MS64 for $235.

Good find, was it a cherry pick and how much did it run you?

A cherry pick from ebay, $5.75 total including shipping.

Not a home run by any stretch—you can buy an identified VF/XF specimen for $15-25-but I was happy to get an example for reference.
