Finally got out yesterday, been itching to get swinging. Got $2.25 in clad from the elementary school and didn't even cover half the playground. But I also found a 5 cent Euro, rather strange to find one of these at 7,000 feet up in the Rocky Mountains. Hope for many more finds this summer.

Glad to see you got out to hunt. Looks like you're off and running. I have found coins from all over the world. I have put together a nice little world coin set just from metal detecting.

Got out again today, another $1.10 in clad, and, ohh so close, a 1965 Quarter. Also found a broken crucifix, maybe 2 inches tall and weighs a couple of ounces. Not sure if there is any precious metal in it, gonna run it through the dishwasher and see if it cleans up a bit. As usual, the pre 1982 one cent coins are in much better shape than the post 1982 one centers.
