Help For Attribution #2: Greek Bronze Ae17, Helmeted Bust Right, Countermarked, Tree/Leaves Reverse?

paralyse Bedrock of the Community United States 12057 Posts	Posted 12/28/2024 12:35 am Picked up a decently sized lot of unidentified bronzes. I am going to do my best with them (already got two identified, I think) but otherwise I'm calling on the CCF detective squad. This one is 17.0mm and 3.4g. Bronze. Obverse appears to depict an Athena or Hera-style helmeted bust facing right. A countermark has been stamped directly on top of the head (it looks almost like a peace sign or an airplane!) The reverse has what appears to be two leaves and possibly a tree of some kind or a fruit? There is a letter "M" or "W" or a sideways Σ as well, and you can see traces of another letter to the left side of that.
