If the scale is correct, then your coin is overweight. Might have been struck on a Rolled Thick Planchet.

I've weighed 30 other coins all weighing they're correct weight and than weighed this 1953 penny and got 3.32

3.24 grams was the mint's spec maximum. It's a touch over but not that unusual and might be a slightly thick planchet as noted above.

There was another post on another forum about 4 years ago with the same year, mint, and weight cent. The conclusion there was the same as here.

But your coin isn't that much over mint tolerances and will not fetch any premium.

It is outside the max by about 3%. It might carry a small premium, a dollar or 2.
