Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any information about this coin. It looks identical to the gold staters from ambiani but this appears to be bronze. Is it a coin or maybe a fake? The coin appears to have a lot of genuine age.

Weight: 4.12 grams, diameter 17mm

Thanks in advance

Delestree in his Nouvel Atlas des Monnaies Gauloises lists a number of uniface bronzes with "stater motifs" like this one (numbers DT 243, 245, and 246). They are from Belgae, not necessarily specifically Ambiani according to him.

I found an auction entry for DT 243 here (erroneously calling it an "AV" stater): https://millenium-state.com/auction...hp?id=36&a=4
