Hello everyone! I am fairly new to this forum community and have about a year, spread over the past couple years of knowledge I've been accumulating in learning about coins, minting errors etc. It's definitely a lot, especially bc we recently inherited a large coin collection and have been slowly picking away at them to get them sorted and organized. Anyway, I recently stumbled across some rather interesting quarters that were mixed in 2 different quarter rolls that I obtained for my cash drawer at work. When I cracked one quarter open, I noticed some of them were of a gold like color, but with some green hues mixed in with some being more defined compared to other quarters. I have finally had a chance to sit down and do a little research on them and the only thing that seems make logical sense from all I have read on Gold Plated vs. Experimental Planchet Quarters, is that they fit all the characteristics of being gold planchet, but the only thing that doesn't line up, is that they are State Quarters with years ranging between 2000 as the oldest, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 to my newest dated 2015. There is maybe only one or 2 different states in each year listed. Now here is the kicker, I also have 2x 1965's, 1x 1983, 1x 1987 and 1x 1988 that also have the same characteristics as potentially being experimentals as well. Now mind you, I found these in quarter rolls I received at work for my drawer. I only found them mixed in 2 of the rolls I received and then a coworker of mine found a 3rd roll with a few more of them, but nothing since and this happened back sometime around the end of Nov. beginning of Dec.2024 sometime. I am uploading some pictures of these quarters to get some opinions as to if you think they might just be another batch of these rare Experimental Quarters. I am almost certain these aren't just Gold Plated or environmental toning, as they don't look like other's I've compared them to, but I could be wrong and wanted to get some opinions from those of you who are more experienced and knowledgeable about coin errors. Thank you!

These just look like Environmental Toning, after much circulation. Normal toning
on Cupro-Nickel coins.

To CCF! They are all showing environmental toning. Coins can tone to many different colors, depending on environmental factors. No errors, just PMD. All of them are worth face value.

That's probably right, but don't be surprised if you come across a suspicious looking gold-colored one. They're out there.
