I hope that this is the right forum in which to post this question. In a couple of days I will be in London and hope to visit some nice coin shops. Seaby, of course, is a rather well-known shop in the area. In the case of Seaby, is it a large shop or is it merely an auction house? (or am I just totally wrong about this?) ANy input would be appreciate!

G'day, I don't have an answer to your question.
Seaby used to publish the Standard Catalogue of British Coins: I have a copy of the 22nd edition, of 1987.
At some time after that, this series was published by Spink, and they are now upto the 44th edition, of 2009.
