G'day, I'm not into grading. There aren't many pearls left on the crown. My estimate is that others will grade this as F~VF. Renniks 22nd edition, 2007, says 1917 had a mintage of 4.3million; and values F at $20; VF at $60. hope this helps, Peter in Oz
Hi, You might be interested in the ANDA coin grading guide (.pdf), because they use the KGV Florin as their example. There I read, "On the Obverse of George V coins, the centre diamond should show all four edges, but the pearls to the left have worn away." Judging from the portrait and overall details, yours appears to be VF.
