About a year and a half ago a fellow collector in my area opened a brick and mortor coin store. On opening day I purchased an 1870cc VG8 Seated dollar from him. With a mintage of 12,462,these do not come up for auction very often,within the rang I can afford. Sorry for the auction pics. I wish Heritage would do better.

And now, for the rest of the story;

The collector that I bought the 1870cc VG8 from found out I had upgraded and sent me a message saying that if I still had the VG8
He would like to buy it back because it was one he really did not want to sell but did at the time to get the store going.
Looks like his VG8 1870cc will be returning home.

What a cool story! It's nice when we can help each other out. He must have been thrilled to find out you still had it.
