that's Beebe, Arkansas. Not new to coin collecting, though. Started when I was a kid because a friend of grandparents gave me an Ike for one of my birthdays. My most valuable coin, and not even that valuable, is a 65 certified 1883
Liberty nickel (w/o C) which I bought because every
Liberty nickel I had ever seen was always worn out, like any Barber. My oldest coin an 1818 large cent. My goal is to some day own a coin minted prior to 1800.
Within the past year I have sent coins off to be graded and am somewhat disappointed, but has induced my decision to buy ONLY certified from now on. I sent in coins my mother in law bought from one of those mail-order places only to find out their coins were cleaned prior to shipping to, I guess, make then look presentable to the buyer. Other coins I sent in for grading were corroded, scratched, altered, recolored. Buyer beware.
Anyway...look forward to seeing from great posts here and may we all learn from each other.
