Hi
I have a 1929 Australian One Penny with two distinct marks on it.
Not sure if die marks or circulation damage?
Many thanks
Tony

Very interesting. I have to assume PMD, but look forward to contrary opinions.

The mark on the reverse might be a minor delamination, or it could be just a scrape; hard to tell from these pics. I'm leaning more towards "scrape", and thus PMD.

The circular pit on the obverse is curious, and one can speculate about it's cause (acid? A removed blob of corrosion?) but it isn't a "die mark" or any other kind of mint error or variety.

I'm thinking PMD on the obverse, and maybe a Lamination on the reverse.
