At first I thought it was no design but looking closer,
I can see some drapery outside the lower right of the 0
and a bit inside so I would say you are right, it would be
classed as the half design variety.

In case any other Yanks were wondering what a "half design" might be:

It's a die polishing variety on the 1950 50¢ coin. The drapes behind the 1950 are progressively polished off, leading to full-half-none varieties.
