I got lucky with a PCGS submission of a 2024 D Jefferson nickel, MS67 Full Steps. The PCGS Pop Report suggests that there aren't many at this grade and the only sell prices that I've found are on ebay which are suspect in my opinion however, if those sold prices are legitimate, they have my attention.

Any advice on how to present this coin for sale and at what price? Should I try a platform other than ebay?

Pick a crazy number as the starting bid and auction it on ebay. It might sell! If not, lower the price and try again. Repeat as necessary or until you don't want to go lower then list as Buy it Now.

Another thought just occurred to me. Being that this is a 2024 nickel, it's probable that not many have been certified at MS67 FS. But people will be looking for them, finding them, and getting them slabbed. As this happens, the price will go down dramatically. It might be best to not wait too long to sell it - i.e., strike while the iron is hot.

Look under ebay "Sold Items" , that tells you what they sold for. Don't ever go by asking price because that could be all over the place.
And don't get to excited if it's designated as FS (Full Steps) as the newer minted nickels mostly all have them.

Update: Sold for $300 on ebay. Kicking myself for turning down an initial offer of $500. A bird in the hand lesson! Still happy with the sale though, it was a nickel after all.

That's fantastic, 13205150! Too bad about the missed offer, but at least you got a good price for it.
