As the pictures show, this is a heavily worn coin. But enough to wear away the reeded edge? According to Numista, this coin minted in Mexico City should have a reeded edge. But I'm not seeing it. What do you all think?

Do you think this coin left the mint without a reeded edge, Jbuck, or has it worn away?

I am not familiar enough with the type, but I can see it being worn if the reeding is weak to begin with.

I have a Mexico 1 Centavo 1888 Mo that is also not reeded so I don't think that it's anything of great importance.

Maybe it's a mistake on Numista. Are mistakes correctible there?

Yes - I've done it a few times with weight and diameter. There is a link at the bottom of a coin's page to submit revisions.

Thanks. I will wait to see if anyone else responds here and spend a little more time comparing coins I can find online before I think about submitting.
