Dear friends,
I was recently offered to purchase this denarius RIC IV-414 Emesa Mint https://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric....414?lang=en
Obverse : IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG COS II, Laureate head right.
Reverse: ROMAE AETERNA(E) - Roma, helmeted, draped, seated left on cuirass, holding Victory in extended right hand and spear in left hand.
I found some denarius with POMA AETERNA (sic).
What is the rarity of the coin? Any information on the coin is welcome.

I have a couple of the POMA variety and think that the ROMA variety is quite a bis scarcer.

Here are my example of POMA - BMCRE pg. 97. * note. RIC 414 note.

Both my examples seem to come from a single reverse die.

Both RIC and BMCRE cite Cohen as the source of the ROMA spelling, Cohen cites Paris with a SEPT obverse legend variety but SEPT is noted as likely being in error. Unfortunately I cannot check the Paris example.

I suspect that there were very few dies created with this reverse type and that they are all quite scarce.

Note that a similar type also exists in Alexandria
