I am not real sure what is going on with this Memorial cent. It weighs 1.3g and is pretty much the size of a dime. Looks like it has had a very hard life. Any input would be greatly apprecieated.

It has had an acid bath which reduces the weight
and thins out the devices. PMD
A capped die would have full rims and only have
one side affected.

Almost forgot

to the CCF, Oklabbq! And yes, I agree with JimmyD - your coin has been on a bad acid trip.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

To CCF! I agree with JimmyD's assessment. PMD. The light weight is a give away of it being an acid coin.

Bad acid trip. Thank you for the welcomes and for the feedback. Are coins like these worth keeping? The second picture is a 1987 so it could definitely be a blister. To bad blisters are worthless.

to CCF.

First off, your opening coin was exposed to a very long dip in pool acid (or equivalent)
and the other coins below that should be posted in new topics for each of them.
(one coin per topic) unless the coins show related or similar points of interest on them
