I came across a great accounting of it that might be of interest to some: - Michael O'Donnell: A poet, a poem and Vietnam ... It was noted in the story that the poem was read at the dedication ceremony for the Vietnam Veterans memorial in November 1982. Seems appropriate to recall the coin at his juncture...
