1993 Cent: Is This Close AM Or Wide?

It's essential to have it in the title. * I've compared this to several other coins and still am not positive. The line of the M next to the A is thinner than some of the other coins. I'm still thinking it is Wide AM (looks like the 1992 I compared to) but I've read that 1993 went to Close AM. I know that the penny is in pretty bad shape but since I'm new to this, I wanted to ask for clarification. Looking on eB for comparisons didn't really help because I saw a lot that said Wide but looked Close. Thank you for your help. Report this Post to the Staff

Lena123 New Member United States 23 Posts	Posted 05/27/2025 4:51 pm I may have found the answer - that it is actually a Close AM based on what I saw when I clicked on the blue link that showed up in my post. That said if the A in STATES is closer to the second T instead of centered between them, it is a Close AM. Report this Post to the Staff
