Hi, all! I have found myself drawn to the restrikes by Robert Bashlow. I love his Confederate Cent restrikes. Also, I consider the 2011 Smithsonian restrike to be a restrike of Bashlow's restrike. LOL! Does anyone know of a book, article, website or other resource that completely document all of the restrikes made by Robert Bashlow? Also, it's a shame that the Red Book doesn't properly recognize Bashlow's Confederate Cent restrikes. In fact, they even misspelled his name as Brashlow! For anyone interested, the spelling mistake is on page 421 of the 2026 Red Book. If I didn't know better, I would think they are insulting him.

We are all human and we all make mistakes. I would not read anything more into that ( a misspelled name). I once tried to be perfect but it didn't work. HA HA. Have a good weekend.

Sorry I can't help with the resource you are looking for but I thought you might be interested in seeing this:

It is a die trial for Bashlow's restrike (1961) of the $5 token from J J Conway Bankers (1861).
