Hello...I've just acquired this coin, & find very little online info as to it's grade & numismatic value ... there doesn't seem to be a lot of information about this issue (1600 - 1608) available to compare pricing & grade ... any guidance toward online material of this type will be greatly appreciated ... Thank you, in advance for any help ...

Here's the NGC database page for it. Values are essentially copy-pasted from the final edition of the 1600s Krause, which was a few years ago now. But it's a start?

For some more pricing guidance, perhaps an auction database can help. CoinArchives used to be the best around, until they started charging a $600 annual fee to access their full database. My go-to for auction info these days is acsearch.info - you'll need to register and log in to see prices, but they've got 14 of them listed, going back to 2010.

As for the grading for your specific coin - it looks quite well preserved, though I am somewhat concerned about the flat, discoloured patch at Mary's feet (and on the corresponding spot on the other side). It might be a repaired mount removal, which would earn the coin a Details grade if sent to a TPG.

thanks, again Sap ... I initally thought that area was a Die Cud,but, upon closer inspection, I believe you're correct ... I'll know for certain when the coin arrives ... I appreciate your help ...
