Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6503 Posts	Posted 07/03/2025 5:41 pm A lightly circulated example of 1957-D 25¢ DDR-001 / WDDR-001. This is an extra thickness doubled die. The distortion can be seen on the L and US of Pluribus, the T of Quarter, and especially on the O of both Of and Dollar. The smooshed donut shape of the two O's is how I cherrypicked the variety. Die chip on the wing is a confirmation marker. The crack from BUS to the right wing was probably worn away. Not sure about the obverse die crack along the bust through the ribbon.
