This Merc has doubling evident on obverse. I'm not seeing anything on Variety Vista or eslewhere for such a variety. I'm afraid the photos are not crystal clear, but the suspect bits should be fairly evident. FWIW there's also a die crack from the rim to he furthest feather towards the edge near the T.

The mint mark is also a little funny. And fuzzy. I'll try and get a better shot of it, but were these repunched in '41?

All photos are through the holder as well, which is probably contributing to the fuzziness.

I know the overall condition is marginal anyway.

Sure looks like doubling to me, possibly doubled working hub? Need Tanman to look at this one.
