Cheapest Way To Collect Silver State Quarters?

Yinzi50 Pillar of the Community United States 716 Posts	Posted 06/04/2009 10:51 pm I am thinking about collecting all the silver State Quarters and district quarters. How should approach this? Anyone has done this? Should I buy prood set and break apart? Should I buy them individully or by year? Your comments and suggestions are appreciated. The 1999s alone will cost close to $200. If it were me I'd buy the 1999s individually and silver proof sets from other years. Plan to spend $400 for a complete set. wetglaswegian Member United States 917 Posts	Posted 06/05/2009 01:33 am This is something I've done.Loads of dealers selling individual BU or UNC Proofs ..you name it.Unc for sure tho , I got all of mine of ebay , bidding generally starts at 99c snd usually free shipping , itll come in a airtite sometimes.If your careful and patient you can put a set together cheaply , patience , once youve gotten a few for 3 bucks and under youll get the idea.I rarely paid 5.
