For the past few years BCS (Banknote Certification Service Ltd) runs a summer special (July and August) for their grading services. It only applies to their regular service and you need to submit at least 10 banknotes to qualify. However, if you have a few bills to grade and aren't in a rush to get them graded, it's a great option. I have taken advantage of this special before and decided to make another submission this year.
Here are some of the results.
First up, a 1975 $50 banknote. I had opportunity to see the RCMP Musical Ride again this year and one of the formations they did was the dome formation which is featured on the back of this note.

I too have taken advantage of their discounted fees during their July and August promotion.
If you're mailing to BCS from the USA - I suggest you put in the description "numismatic items" on your customs declaration.
I have used FedX in the past, next day service gets there next day.

Another changeover note, this time a polymer note. A little over million of this signature combination with the IND prefix were printed. Very happy with the grade considering this was a raw note purchased on ebay.

That's another nice note to have graded Choice by BCS! Congrats!

Thank you! I actually sent in two polymer notes with this signature and prefix combination for grading. The other one came back UNC50 Original. It's got good eye appeal, but it had a very slight crease and a hairline scratch, both on the holograms which I am sure brought the grade down.
