I noticed that a new thread about "Five" coins was started and locked earlier today - I'm not sure of the reason for it being locked. Hopefully, there's not an issue with the theme!
As I like the concept and believe it can become quite a showcase for coins from around the world, I'm starting a new thread for the same theme - "Five" coins - Five Cents, Five Centavos, Five Dollars, Five Pesos, Five Pounds, etc.

I'll kick things off with a 2005 Silver $5 coin from Canada - it commemorates the 100th Anniversary of Alberta joining the Canadian Confederation (it did so in 1905). Not the nicest coin, but the 5 is certainly emphasized! Colombia 5 Centavos 1886  Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
