1953-D Improper Alloy Mix / Dirty Rollers / .acid?

MintedNotPrinted Pillar of the Community United States 1182 Posts	Posted 10/02/2025 4:56 pm This one stood out to me as unique against the rest of the 53-D's I'm looking at, is this an improper alloy mix or from dirty rollers? Or post-mint nonsense? This is one of those things that I keep getting confused on, moving through eras of alloys, and there are so many mislabeled examples online I could use some insight.
